We start our day viewing the Corinth canal, where Patty had to hold me back to keep me from Bungee jumping off it like the locals. (The canal is only large enough for small boats).

Next, we see what was once the ancient port of Cenchria, a seaport close to Corinth. This was the port where Paul's friend Phoebe lived, who brought the Romans his letter from Corinth. (Acts 16:1-2)

Ok Ladies! We can't get too excited, even though the man's name on the inscription means "sexy!" Erastus was the city treasurer in 51 AD according to this, and also, according to this! Romans 16:23

Let the games begin! The Pythian games, that is. They were only for the Greeks, and people came from all over to the Isthmus of Corinth. They would need tents to sleep in. Good thing Paul knew a little something about making them. (Acts 18:3).

Uh oh. Paul's in trouble. We are at the Bema (Judgement seat) placed in the middle of "town square" where Paul was brought after being accused. He stood before Governor Gallio (Right about where I am standing) and just as he started to make his case . . . (Check out the ending. Acts 18:14-16)

I don't know about you, but I got pretty hot waiting in the sun to see what would happen to Paul. I think I'll look in the mirror to freshen up. Unfortunately, the way the mirrors are made, I can't see myself very clearly at all. (I Corinthians 13:12)

This hill was dedicated to Athena, the Greek Goddess of Love, with a huge temple complex on top. Slave Children and women were given to the goddess temple. They were known as "living sacrifices." (Romans 12:1)

A couple of hundred years after Paul left Corinth, someone created "the love table." On it was 13 places, and in the center would be communion. Paul's message of love lived on here in Corinth.
